ZorgMap was released and in just one day there were more than 1,000 photos registered! Thank you to all who have been registering their photos. I don't know about you; but, I am having a wonderful time traveling the world with other Zorg-ers without leaving my comfortable seat in front of my computer!
At any rate, ZorgMap is still in its early stages. We are getting feedback from users and figuring out ways in which to make it more useable. Additionally, there will be more features to come! Keep on ZorgMap-ing!
I've only been here at Zorg for two months; however, I already feel as if I have been here since the beginning. There are many, many things that I still have to learn--that knowledge will come with time--but, every day is fun and things are going well.
As for life in Japan... I LOVE IT! America is nice; but, Tokyo is definitely where I want to be. Never before have I lived somewhere that is so safe yet has so many people packed like sardines and living so close together. New York, L.A., Chicago--those cities are wonderful; but I would never want to walk alone at night in them! Tokyo is, for the most part, a very safe place.
Another thing I love about Japan is the fact that "konbini" are actually convenient!
Before coming to Japan, I had always been confused as to how "convenience stores" got their names. The ones in America are basically just normal stores that sell soda pop, junk-food, and gas (for cars), and I never really liked them. However, after coming here and seeing how convenient convenience stores really can be, I've come to love them! Seriously. Japanese "konbini" definitely have the convenience thing down. You can pay your bills at them!? Now *that's* convenience!!
Well, I'm sure I'll run into more and more interesting differences between here and America as the days go on; I'll keep you all posted.
See you next time!
